About Me:
I have taught Web Mastering for 10 years prior to the 2009-10 school year. It has evolved a lot
over these years. I was the Brazoswood Webmaster and managed updates to the school Web Site. I have
taught other courses including Technology Applications Ind. Study, Multimedia, BIMM, and Keyboarding.
I have written curriculum for Web Mastering & Multimedia. I am certified in Technology Applications &
Business and have a Business degree. I was the Department Chair for Business & Technology Applications
for 10 years, and a Campus Tech Rep.
I took a leave of absence for the 2010-11 school year to deal with 3 elderly parents and try to get them
situated and take care of their needs. I have since retired, but I might be available for private tutoring, computer help
or web site design.
I love computers and the creativity of designing web sites, graphic editing, working with Flash, video
editing and creating animations. We upgraded to Adobe CS4 in 2008-09 and this includes Dreamweaver,
Photoshop, Flash, InDesign, and lots more! I enjoy sharing my enthusiasm for what I teach with my students.
For Web students who want another year of Web Mastering, you may wish to apply for Technology
Applications Independent Study, a class which works on the Brazoswood Web site primarily. Multimedia
students may go on to take Video Tech or Web Mastering in order to get more skills they will use in
college or careers.
