| 1. The most important is the sketch pad. 9 1/2 X 11, 9 X 12 are great sizes. The size varies slightly from one company to the next. Make sure the pages are not too thin. No thin "tracing paper" please. 2. Various drawing pencils (4B,2B,B,HB,2H, 4H) are good. You don't need to get worried if cannot find each and everyone.) 3. Watercolors-you can get the basic Prang set or if you think you want to do watercolors after the class, you can get either a nice set watercolor sets ( I use a pan set made by Grumbacher) or you can invest in tube paint. The tubes are more expensive, but coverage is better than the Prang set. 4. Colored Pencils- I use Prismacolor pencils-these are expensive. If too much, other brands work OK, just not as good. 5. 3 White artists erasers. DO NOT bring in pink erasers. They leave markings on paper frequently. Bring 2 pencil top erasers as well. 6. pencil box to put supplies into. 7. 2 rolls of paper towels or a box of kleenex 8. 2 fine point permanent sharpie markers 9. White artist erasers |
