Homework is not for a numeric grade. However, we do check to make sure that it is done every day because it is an important part of the school process. Homework helps to reinforce what your child learned, in school and at home. Students who complete their homework assignments often perform better. Also, it is a great way for you to get involved with your child's schooling and it will help to keep you informed of what we are learning about in our classroom. Homework does receive a work habits grade each week in their LOOK folder, which is then reflected in their report cards each 9 week grading period.
