Here is what is happening in the Ney library:

Kinder: We are continuing along with our Nursery Rhyme Unit. Be on the lookout for some special Kinder Nursery Rhyme Activities! I have a few surprises up my sleeve! It should be so fun!

First: We are reading and testing on our AR books! The kids are doing great and working towards their 15 point goal to attend the Royal Reading Celebration in May. This week we are going to begin learning how to access and navigate through this library website! Don't be surprised if you see your children develp a newfound intrest in the computer!

Second, Third, and Fourth: Our focus for the next few weeks will be learning how to use QuizList and also learning and using the Card Catalog/Dewey Decimal System.   We are also focusing on achieving and maintaing an 85% or higher average percent correct on all our the AR testing.

Parents please remember that there is a parent portal to the AR program! You can have access to your child's reading record from any computer! You can also sign-up for up to the minute emails on each test your child takes during the school day!
